Say what movie, and why. In my opinion, it's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. They got everything wrong.

-In the movie, Cheswick receives EST with McMurphy, and the Chief, while that never happens in the book.

-In the book, Mrs. Ratched is called the "Big Nurse" for a reason. In the movie however, she's smaller than the aides.

-Max Taber isn't even supposed to be in the movie. In the book, it says he was gone before McMurphy arrived.

-In the book's fishing trip, Randle doesn't sneak over the fence and steal a bus, he has permission from the ward staff.

-In the movie, the Catholic nurse doesn't have any sign of a birthmark whatsoever.

-Turkle's supervisor doesn't find Candy in the middle of the night in the book.

-When McMurphy and the Chief fight with the black boys, they were originally in the shower room, not the main hall.

-And for God's sake, McMurphy is supposed to have red hair!

  1. All The King's Men with Sean Penn. It was so over acted with a horrible script and weak acting.

Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire was also horrible. I mean, it didn't it feel like a movie. It felt like a bunch of highlights from the book  pasted together without any coherence.

This is random, but when are they going to make The Catcher in The Rye book? It would be awesome.

  2. The Mist, which is a short story by Stephen King.  The ending of the movie was completely different from the story, I really hated it.

  3. I would say The Golden Compass~ it just didn't have the magic the book had. It was too action oriented ... and wayy too short. At two hours, it felt like they just threw all these scenes together one after the other. Overall, it could have been so much better.

Hmm~ for what it's worth, I saw One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest long after I read the book and found it was really enjoyable. It's definitely a four star movie, imo, even if they changed a few things around (and it did win Best Picture the year it came out, as well as a few other awards, Best Director, Nicholson for Best Actor). I don't think any movie that wins Best Picture can be considered the worst for anything~ it's a matter of opinion in the end though, oh well.

Rockfan~ sorry, but Goblet of Fire was the best Harry Potter movie so far. Sure I didn't read the book, but still. Easily the best of them~ and yeah, Catcher in the Rye would be awesome ... maybe
