  1. People start immigrating to Europe en mass

  2. We'll have to wash our own cars. Mow our own lawns.

  3. I'm on food stamps and permanent disability. Does that mean I'm too lazy to work?

No. It means that the jobs we have can't even *begin* to cope with the high costs of living, the high costs of food and energy, and everything else tied to our materialistic little lives.

Most people where I live are striving to hold onto their jobs--because they don't want to lose them.

Few businesses here are actually hiring. Most are laying off again or going out of business because of a LACK of business.

I would rather wait until the economy turns itself around, before I start looking for full-time employment. Before I start putting myself into the meat grinder.

Because a part-time job won't pay even near the $900 in rent that my place has started to charge--for an apartment that should be worth less than half that amount.

It's not the Taj Mahal. It's spartan living with really crappy carpets.

  4. When the government stops providing certain people with food stamps, welfare checks, and other freebies.  There will be a lot of people out there who don't actually know how to stay alive without these "essentials."  People will starve because they don't know how to work or to find food.  Sad but true.

  5. A powerful, evil country declares war on a 3rd World US, the country wins and becomes a terrorizing superpower.

  6. We have borrowed hundreds of $$ Billions from other countries to pay for the war. If they should call for their money, the US Dollar won't be worth the paper that it's printed on, and a gallon of gas in this country will cost $20.

  7. IM MOVING TO THE NORTH POLE BECAUSE ITS NICE AND WARM UP THERE

  8. We would be dependent on foreign oil, would have nothing left to manufacture, the dollar would already be worth very little, the government would be in debt, we would be about to elect a democrat as president, our taxes would be about to be raised, the morality of our people would be at an all time low, Illegal Mexican immigrants would be going home because conditions here were bad, all literature would be printed in at least two languages and the Supreme Court will have taken away my guns. Well at least we are not there yet. Thank God for the 5 to 4vote of the Court this week!
