  1. I was standing next to my chemistry teacher. We were using Bunsen burners in the lab. He accidentally knocked the Bunsen burner down. It burned off most of his pants.

Edit: Not a bad thing: On our last day of class, we went outside to blow up stuff. We got weird looks from the elementary school kids walking by.

  2. I was boiling a solution of lead sulfate in a test tube and it pops up the test tube as you know and I let it heat too long and it splattered all over the lab bench and my laptop screen but my partner didn't realize. Kinda boring - I know. This is the most exciting thing. My professor said that the lab had an excellent safety record with no major accidents.

  3. a friend of mine was like poked with some tongues that had just come out of the bunsen flame.....in a kind of branding manner.....wasnt there....but ive seen the scar.....tis pretty bad

  4. This isn't too bad but we had to burn some type of metal once and you're not supposed to breathe in the fumes, but I was looking at it a little too close and breathed in. It gave me the worst headache of my life, and it lasted for hours.
