  1. Getting arrested did it pretty well! My mom didn't speak to me for a week!

But as for school I was a great kid! I got decent grades and was on the MC JROTC drill team. I had a reputation of being my older brothers sister and the teachers hated me just because I was his sister or I got really lucky and had one of my older sisters teachers and let them down because they loved her so much! Older siblings suck in school!

Come to think of it my mom wasn't too thrilled about my senior year in general. I got engaged and almost failed. If I had failed I would have probably dropped out! But i barely made it. Told a couple of teachers point blank I didn't need their class to graduate and therefore refused to do the homework. That didn't make her too happy either.

  2. By far the worst thing I have ever done doesn't compare to this grammatical and spelling nightmare that you have posted here.  Not a surprise that you are having problems.

What you need to do is to use proper language at all times, use a spell checker always (that little Check Spelling button just above the box where you type stuff in), and wake up.  Your intelligence is directly related to how you communicate.

  3. I agree with MB.  Stop worrying about our past issues and deal with your immediate one.  Maybe if you show you are busting a&& and not playing on the pc, you won't get "killed" by your parents.  Also, in agreement with MB, learn how to spell

  4. Well, the worst thing I ever did to upset my parents was running away, years and years ago.

What does this question have to do with homeschooling?

You say you deserve your privileges, or are you saying you deserve to loose them?  I think you deserve to lose them.

  5. The worst thing I did in school did not upset my parents because they did not find out about it.  I skipped school one day in the 12th grade.

The worst thing I ever did to upset my parents did not have anything to do with school.  I was a single mom at age 39.    They are still recovering 15 years later.

They got pretty upset when they found out that we were going to homeschool...but nothing compared to the unwed pregnancy thing.

  6. Would you like to hear that other people made mistakes as well, so you can feel better about yours, and not feel alone?

Trust me you are not, we all made mistakes we had to learn from, but reading ours is not going to give you an excuse to justify yours.

So learn from your own, and make better choices next time, that's how most of us got past it, and so will you.

  7. What on earth does this have to do with home schooling?!?

If you're home schooled, your parents should have cottoned on to how slack you're being and how far behind you were getting a long time ago.

And, if you're not homeschooled, you're on the wrong board.

  8. being born they didn't want me

  9. Well, not proud of this, but when I was in ninth grade I hated math and I had to work pretty hard at it, so i decided to sneak into my parents room everyday and get my mom's teacher handbook.  Of course when your parents are your teachers that doesn't last very long and at the end of a month when I was supposed to present my work to my parents they know something was up.  Needless to say, I was grounded for a good month, and I had to redo every lesson that i had cheated on.  I think every kid cheats once or twice in school.  I think you should probably get off the internet though and get to work!
