What is the youngest age u can get a job at?

im young (not saying how old) and i NEED pay because i want to get a pet and afford my own stuff but cant live on my allowance. how old do i have to be to get a paying job? plz help ill give 10 points!!!

well my sis is 15 she went for a audition at a food place they told her she was to young and they also told her that at any place where you can work u have to be 18 or older so i would go with 18yrs.old to start working.

i dont know but i hear u can get a job at mcdonalds pretty young but i dont know the age so maybe you should check about that...

hmm...well I'm in QLD, australia and i think like to get a job legally u have to be like 14 and 9 months or sumfin but yer it varies. are u interested in a specific type of job. coz if u are then u can try to look up how old u have to be to get that job on their website or something like that u know

You can mow lawns, deliver papers, babysit, wash cars, pull weeds, do chores for neighbors.  There are tons of jobs that you can do at pretty much ANY age.

dude it dependds were you live at.. like i live in south carolina and here in some jobs you can be 15 and work there..but most of them you have to be at least 16...and dude if yur 15 haha dont start working yett..haha i did and it suckss..but money is good :)

technically, you have to be 16 years old(15 in some states). you may want to consider getting an under the table job.(age depends on employer) when i was 14, i had a farm job and i got paid 6 dollars an hour(without taxes tooken out.)

16 is the most common. but mow yards and clean houses.  Pet sitting for friends adn family while there out on vacation

I got my first job at eleven but it was in a family buisness. If you are around that age you can babysit or if your not ready be a mothers helper. You really can't get a real job until sixteen and yet some places don't let you even do that. If you need money try doing something your good at and like into a job. Such as if you are smart a touter to little kids and sometimes older people will need you to run errands. Look around I am sure you will find something!

If you want to work at Publix you only have to be fourteen. If you are younger than fourteen you can try working for people in your neighborhood. You can do things like mowing the lawn. raking the leaves, leaf blowing, car washing, etc.etc... You can also host a big car wash or fundraiser at the beginning of each week then you can gradually use the money during the course of the week. Happy Money Making!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, well the legal age is 16 in most places otherwise it is breaking child labour laws, but if you apply most places are desperate for people to work and they will hire as low as 14 years old. Just make sure you don't overwork yourself  at a young age (2-3 days a week)  and if they are trying to make you work morethen what you can handle or are comfortable with, either refuse or quit.
