I have heard debate that the Kawasaki ZX12 and the Hayabusa are competing for that title. Are there any other bikes that are within reach of stealing that title?

  1. The Y2K is the fastest. The Tomahawk doesn't really run and the ZX 14 is faster than a big old ugly Busa. The largest squid bike on the market is a Busa or for that matter any big Susie.

  2. gsxr 1300 hayabusa   zzr1300 , nx12r ,  cbr1300xx blackbird,  there are faster bikes but these are are the fastest road bike for sale to the public with top speeds of 200mph - 210mph  thats 305kph  and  thats  fast i been 160 on my bike and its very hard to ride at them speeds so if anyone says they have been 200mph they are either lying or would would like to see it . oh yeah the  mtt y2k  is the fastest bike that is street legal 2 gears,  320bhp  at 52000rpm no thats not a printing mistake 250mph for 52.000 rpm thats not that fast, if you went 100mph in a car the engine would run at about 4000 rpm so this bike would be like a jet engine.  and it has a gas turbine engine , it is a sick bike and not cheap

  3. MV Agusta F4    312 Kph..

  4. I believe that it is the Hayabusa and that peters out at about 187 i think

  5. Dodge Tomahawk

    0 - 60mph : 1.75 secs

    top speed : 420mph

Although its not road legal or massive produced.

Tops speed Hayabusa limited to 185 mph

    "               " Kawasaki ZZ-R1400 limited to 186mph

  6. I would say the hayabusa.

  7. The MTT Y2K is the fastest bike you can buy that is in production if you can afford it.http://www.marineturbine.com/motorcycles...

  8. King Kawi's ZX14

  9. Next year, prepare for the BMW K1300 (not 1200) s. Stand and tremble before your German GOD! OK...I guess we'll see.

  10. The MV Augusta 312R I believe: but only because the fast japanese bikes have rev/speed limiters and had a 300km/hr "gentlemen's agreement". Also the MV has been geared with top speed in mind.

I think with no limiters and equal gearing the Hayabusa with its aerodynamics would win followed by Ducati 1098 and Kawasaki ZX-14.
