  2. there are alot of good rides, and good shows, and the old time theme is great to see, a fun thing to watch is the craftsmen making things while you watch.

  3. Hi- I haven't been there for many years, in fact, it was the only main attraction when I was a kid visiting my Uncle down in Bransen, if that tells you anything. The last time in Branson, last fall, I was absolutely AMAZED at the changes in all the time I've not visited there- It is definetly worth the vist, as the season allows. I do believe it is closed at some times during the year, but, again, not real sure.

I loved the "FIRE IN THE HOLE" Ride- All the Craft buildings- so much to do there, and I can only imagine what they have shakin in there now. I have to laugh- My Grandpa, well known for "people watching" and a very HUGE sweet tooth was in a shop were the ladies, dressed in old time style, asked my Grandfather (MAY HE REST IN PEACE)- to either buy a bag of candy, or refrain from eating their home made samples- He said, "That's okay, I'm full now, but, thanks anyhow." He was a HOOT! He'd been sitting in there each and every day I went ot Sliver Dollar City, and apparently enjoyed the candy as soon as the gals put their fresh morsels out. Hmm...He must have been annoying, huh?

EIther way, if I lived closer, I'd go check out the sights at Silver Dollar City if I had the opportunity. It would be worth the trip/time, and you can at least say you've been there, right?

Take care and have a great day!! :-)
