What is there to do at the Indiana Dunes?

I'm going to the Indiana Dunes for the first time with my friends tomorrow, and i don't want to do boring stuff like going to the beach and swimming in tween t**d or go on those group tours. What are some cool things to do that aren't too crowded or overly-touristy?
