What is there to do at the michigan renaissance festival?

I'm going on saturday and would like to know what I'm in for!!!

So much!  It is like stepping back in time (or at least I imagine that's what time would be like!)

You can:

See/try jousting (on hay bales or horses - watching only!)

Make wax mold candles of your hand

Play with devil sticks

wine tasting (if you're of age)

shop, shop, shop!

practice ye old english

eat humongous drumsticks!

take great pictures

try walking on stilts

enter contests

See so many unique things...

It's really fun!  I can't wait to go!

There is a lot to do there. It's full of a whole day of activities. It starts with a parade into the fair where you get to see all the characters including the king and queen. Once inside you can watch activities, there is even a deadbob show that is pretty funny. You can pay a small fee to throw your friends in "jail" and watch them have to funny things to get out. There are stands all over to check out and each weekend is themed to add more excitment.
