What is there to do for children in Sardinia?

We recently spent two weeks there with our 2-year-old. There's not really very much dedicated to kids - just the normal pool/beach stuff.

But the Sardinians, like all Italians, love kids and take them with them whatever they do, even when they go out to a restaurant at night. After dinner you always see families doing the "passagiata", just wandering around the town looking at the shops which are always still open, with kids in tow.
