What is there to do for some couples going to Napa Valley in California?

Me and my wife and some other friends who are couples also, are going on a weekend trip to Napa Valley, just wondering what else was there to do besides the wine thing.

  2. Many people travel to Napa to taste wine and dine at the gourmet restaurants.  You can also:

    1.  Ride the wine train.

    2.  Visit Copia....this is a great place to start your trip.  http://www.copia.org/

    3.  Hot Air Balloon Ride

    4.  Hess Collection - a great place for wine tasting with a free modern art museum that is interesting,

    5.  Dine outdoors at Auberge du Soleil for a fabulous view of the Napa Valley.  You need reservations....lunch will be a cheaper meal than dinner.

    6.  Stop at the historic Oakville Grocery on Hwy. 29 to pick up picnic supplies.

    7.  Ride the tram at Sterling Cellars to taste wine at the top of the hill.

    8.  Mud baths and massages in Calistoga are always fun and relaxing.

    9.  Enjoy breakfast at Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen in St. Helena.

    10.  Browse the shops in Napa, St. Helena, and Yountville.

    11.  If you want to taste a truly  premium Cabernet Sauvignon...go to Silver Oak.

  3. you can breakfast or dinner on the train, get a massage at the spas, have dinner as there are great restaurants in napa.  there's also the napa outlets that you can check out!

  4. There's lots to do but of course it's a bit pricey.  You can go to a ton of wonderful restaurants (my fav is Rutherford Grill), go to a spa, biking, hiking, wine tasting of course, wine train, hot air balloon ride, or go shopping.
