  1. It is a good area for cycling and the local supermarket is a spar on the high street near the station in Dawlish. Teignmouth (which has larger supermarkets) is a couple of miles away from Dawlish and Dawlish itself is a mile from Dawlish Warren. This is where myself and my family holiday in Britain. We use the trains when there as Brunell's coast rail track runs through to Torquay and Plymouth. In those places you can take ferry rides around the coast for very little cost and visit lots of places in a short space of time. Shaldon (across the bridge from Teignmouth) has a zoo and a very nice pub/restaurant called the Ness. There are a lot of retired people down there and lots of them took to art and crafts so there are no shortage of such things. When you go I think the Teignmouth regatta may be running which has a very carnival way to it. It really is a nice part of the land to visit and i'm sure you will enjoy it. Regards.
