What is there to do in Kansas?

No offense meant to ANYONE who is from Kansas but to me...it looks like well, sky, sky and more sky...oh and trees. but really i live near the city so i could pretty much get it completely wrong. and because i might be moving there i really need help of knowing what to look forward to!!! also i am scared to death of tornado's!

Depends on where in Kansas.  It's a pretty big state.  Kansas City, Topeka, and Wichita are all major cities.  When you think of wide open space, "sky sky and more sky", that's more western kansas.  I'm in KC and it's not bad.  Humidity sucks, but other than that it's great.

i live in wichita. really there is nothing to do, i hate it here. tornadoes don't always happen but when they do just get in your tornado shelter and you'll be fine.
