  1. Go to a club Called MAD and a pub Called Captain's Cook...you'll love Lausanne...it's a lovely place...i lived there for 3 years and i had the time of my life...enjoy your visit...

  2. Well Lausanne is Very Nice ..Some Shopping ...

But You Could Go to Other Places By Train its So Close ...

  3. You're a month late for the mounted games european championships that were held in Moudon

  4. don't know about the special events, but Lausanne is a great city, with lots to do and see. the Cathedrale is a very impressive gothic style church. 2 castles, Chateau d'Ouchy (which is now a hotel/restaurant) and Chateau St Marie (converted to government building); there's no tour inside either of them, but they're interesting to see, architecturally. there's always the lake, which is certainly among the most spectacular in Switzerland. and definitely visit the Olympic Museum; i've seen some of the top-rated museums in the world, and still i found the Musee Olympique to be really well-done... it's interesting, the exhibits have a ultra-modern style, and the whole thing is very interactive for the audience. the old town (Vieille Ville) is nice to walk too; lots of shopping (though not quite so high-end as Zurich's Bahnhofstrasse), street musicians, etc. be prepared to walk though... Lausanne is surprisingly hilly; the old town is basically made up of endless up-and-down cobblestone roads.
