You have to go see some stone work of the original Incan buildings. There are several, but probably the best example is the Cathedral the Spanish built on top of an Incan temple. The stones are cut and fitted together so precisely that it looks like they were molded instead of carved...and they didn't have steel or iron tools!

Take the “Mirabus” ( www.mirabusperu.com ) it's a 4 hr. drive across the most relevant tourist attractions, then you have lunch any place you like (try a Cevichería) and spend the afternoon at Larcomar (mall) or walking through Miraflores or Barranco or going into a Museum. Then finish the day a lounge or pub.

San Isidro and Miaflores has trendy restaurants and bars.

Barranco has many bohemian bars (really nice places).

Go to El Puente de Los Suspiros in Barranco!!! Eat lomo saltado, papa a la huancaina, anticuchos, pollo a la brasa, and ceviche.  For dessert eat picarones, marcianos, cremoladas.  Drink fruit juices especially maracuya.
