  1. cow tipping...(just kidding)

im going on vacation there :/ cuz my fam lives there, so ive been asking the same questions.

all ive found is there are a descent beaches, ice cream, and there are a lot of summer outdoor music festivals (some pretty good ones too if you go at the right times...like warped tour and stuff)

  2. that is the most general question ever.. LOL

depends, what do you like? where are you going? how old are you? family activities or friends?

you should try to explain more.. or try tripadvisor.com - and go to the locations you are going to for activities

or you could always do me - jk  :oP

  4. ahhh, the classic benny.

BENNY = bayonne, elizabeth, newark, new york.

haha jk. but im a native new jerseyan, and ur lucky that i have stumbled upon this question!

[  by the way, if u wanna check out google maps, i live in Wall, NJ.  =)  ]

    well...

new jersey is one of the only coastlines where u have to pay to go on the beach.

even so, they are beautiful. i go to Spring Lake beach. its about 8 dollars for a day badge, or i got a season badge for 100 dollars.

the water is kinda cold, but if u r staying for the summer, the water will b nicer mid-next month.

there are the nj lighthouses, and a lot of tourists like to visit those. most ppl who visit those like to collect souvenirs from each one. there are a lot along the coast.

we have the usual movie theaters, bowling alleys, ice/roller skating rinks, delis and diners and restaurants.

we also have the great Atlantic City, whic is like the Las Vegas of the east. depending on how old u r, go check it out with ur parents! there's an imax 3-D theater there that u may enjoy.

there's also jenkinson's and wildwood boardwalks which are a ton of fun.

also, there's Six Flags in Jackson.

there's tons of shopping malls, like the ocean one and, my favorite, the Freehold Raceway mall.

u can google all of this stuff, too, to find out more info about it all.

there's a TON of stuff to do in NJ.  =]

    check out the site below.

  5. not a lot

i've lived in jersey for 26 years and all i ever do is go to the beach or just do the boardwalk for a day or there is six flags i dont remember where that is though nothing spectacular malls, beaches or eating

    good luck

  6. It depends what part of Jersey you are going to. I'm from Jersey City, where there is a lot to do in Downtown, right across the river from NY, it's best not to go near the slummy parts though. There is Atlantic City with it's famous casinos, and the beach. Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. If your going a little upstate NJ, you can go to upstate NY, where they have Woodbury Commons in Woodbury, NY. They have a 5 story mall in Nanuet, NY, about 25 mins from NJ, named Palisades Mall. For more shopping, they have Jersey Gardens Mall in Elizabeth, NJ. If your staying westside Jersey, more by Camden area, you'll be close to Philly, which is right by Sesame Place (for kids), and Hershey Park. If your staying by Jersey City, Bayonne, West New York, Union City, Hoboken, Weehawken area, it's right by bridges, tunnels, ferries, and trains to Manhattan, Staten Island, and Brooklyn. For nightlife, they have clubs in every city, just email me for more info. ;)
