Quebec is the Province, and also the name of the Capital city.  This year, Quebec City is 400 years old and there are all kinds of activities planned-

Within the Province, there is Montreal (2.5 hour drive from Quebec City), which is a very European flavored and Multicultural city)

shopping, clubs.  It is also the festival city.   Jazz Festival, Just for Laughs, Film Festival,  the Grand Prix.

An hour or so North of Montreal are the Laurentian Mountains which is quite a beautiful area if you like nature

I don't understand why people keep thinking that the travel category regarding Canada is divided into provinces rather than cities.

Where does it say British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario. Quebec, Maritime Provinces, etc., anywhere in the column located on the right hand side here?!? >>>>>>>>>

All I can see so far is a list of major Canadian cities - and Quebec just happens to be one of them!

As already stated Quebec is a province not a city and what you can do in certain parts of Quebec is different.

If you mean Montreal then the city has a very good nightlife. Good shopping. A Casino.

Quebec is a fantastic province in terms of culture , nightlife , and people.  French people really know how to live there and they have European blood . They really know how to live it up.

I would recommend it 100%  you can do alot , yes .

Drinking age is 18 , everything is open until 3 a.m [ bars , clubs]

For the size of and the numerous cities I would say quite a lot depending on what you are into. Nightclubbing, shopping in Montreal, backpacking and hiking in the Saguenay, viewing historical site in Quebec City, etc etc.

Quebec is a Province quite large and has numerous cities in it, it is not just once place. It is like saying what is there to do in California
