What is there to do in Salt Lake City during an 8 hour layover?

Arrive Tuesday morning approx. 7 a.m. and depart by 3 p.m.

There is a Fast cart, go cart track right around the corner or so from the airport called Winners Motorsports where you can go and race a few laps to pass some time.  Or if you want to go up into Park City you can go do the Alpine Slide and mini golf, bike, horseback, Zip line, shop.  Or you can go downtown to the gateway and Catch a movie at the cinema then catch another one at the Planetarium, you can eat and shop also while there.  Those are just a few suggestions.
