  1. Why visit the barbar of course!   Also just relax, take in the lifestyle... Eat lots, drink, mingle.  Just live.

  2. The question is, What do you want to do? Sevilla is the fourth city in Spain, and you can find all the facilities a medium-big city has to offer.

If u will be there studyng, my advice is to mix with locals (live with spaniards, go out with them). Meeting people in college is quite easy. Just be open and easy-going. They do love talking to foreigners! plus, ull learn lots of spanish.

There are loads of things to DO appart from studyng (generally the level of the uni there is quite high, so u may have to actually study a bit). Of course ull get involved in the nightlife. Depending on where u live, or on what is ur style, ull go to one areas or others, but dnt worry, ull find out where to go out when ur there.

In one semester ull have time enough to visit the most important parts of the city. U have to visit the cathedral (third biggest in the world), and the giralda (ts tower), the alcazar (arabic jewell), the university building itself is historic. The buildings in the park apear in the Star Wars film. (plaza de España). The neighbourhood of Santa Cruz is very picturesque... and so on. Loads of charming corners, and places to get lost. Its a lovely city, really.

Amusement parks? there is a theme park, which is quite decent. Its called Isla Magica, and is in walkable distance. Its better to visit in warm weather, so go in the months closer to summer (as ull get wet).

There are two soccer teams: Sevilla futbol Club (in red), and Real Betis Balompie (in green). The city is divided in this, and there are big 'derbis', when both teams have to play a match.

Also basketball, Caja San Fernando as i can recall.  but its not so popular.

There aremany more things to do: theatres, cinemas (doubled and in original version), museums (the second museum in the country is in seville), loads of good shops... if u wanna learn dance flamenco, u can do so, if u wanna row in the river, u can do so.... it depends on ur tastes. I can tell u u wont get bored :) enjoy!!

  3. Take in the local arts, wining and dining, possibly some site seeing. I love Spain. My grandparents are from San Paolo, Spain. have fun.
