  1. Trust me, not much. I lived there briefly & couldn't wait to move down south. I lived in northeastern Ohio all my life, before moving briefly to Toledo. It's so run down & not what it used to be when my aunt & uncle lived there in the 60's.

  2. If you are going to Toledo to visit, here is a list of activities/places to go:

    - The Toledo Zoo: take a day to visit one of the top zoos in the world...it's close to home and doesn't cost all the much to go.

    - Toledo Museum of Art: this attraction is free, though the kids may not enjoy it as much. If your kids enjoy art, this is the perfect place to go!

    - Toledo area Metroparks: if your family enjoys biking, you can take your bicycles and ride them around the parks for a few hours.

    - Sauder Village, Archbold: explore history while enjoying many activities from back in the day

    - The Butterfly House, Whitehouse: View over 100 species of butteflies

    - Sandpiper: Go on a boat ride on the Sandpiper on the Maumee River

    - Maumee Bay State Park: enjoy a day of swimming, biking, hiking, fishing, and boating along Lake Erie.

If you are living in Toledo and are trying to find something to do, there really isn't much to do.  My brother just moved to Toledo and is bored out of his mind.  You could always go to Franklin Park Mall and shop or go see a movie.

  3. Depends on what you want to do.  It's very family-friendly and not so much on the urban/club scene, etc.  The zoo is nice, Perrysburg has some nice parks around it, and 5/3 field is good to catch a baseball game.

Great place to raise a family, but if you're young, go somewhere like Chicago to get your kicks.
