What is there to do in eastern central Indiana for couples?

My husban and I are in our 50's and would like to find out where the fun places to go around West Lafayette

It would probably be worth your time to drive an hour south to Indianapolis. It's a beautiful city with lots to do. Shopping, eating, sporting events,museums, and lots of history. It's small enough that you can park downtown and walk around.

Do you live in West Lafayette? Do you know that it's actually more towards northwest Indiana?

In Eastern Indiana, there is Metamora, but I think you're going to be on the western side.

West Lafayette is the home of Purdue University and from my experience it is based more on college kids.

The only thing I can think of is Columbia Park.
