What is there to do in gran canaria?

i am going to puerto rico if that helps i a, going in march 1st 08. i cant wait i dont want to hear about pubs because i am not into geting drunk

Puerto Rico is very relaxed,its built on a cliff so depending where you stay you may have loads of steps to climb.It is the sunniest part of the island.There is a boat trip to Mogan(very nice) and the usual trips into the countryside(beautiful scenery)if you're not afraid of heights.Playa del ingles is about 30 minutes away by bus..

You could head down the foam party or school disco at Paradise Lost. The local buses are very reliable, your hotel reception can gve you a timetable or you could book an island tour. There are various boat trips, where you can snorkell. The best thing to do is go to your welcome meeting and book trips with a rep, that way you will have a guide when your out and about.........
