  1. ah! i looove grand cayman!! definately go to stingray city! also go to "h**l" lol its so beautiful. theres a dock where you can see that part of the island that used to be under water and is now not. theres also a post office where you can send your friends and family post cards officially from "h**l" also go to the tortuga rum shop! that rum is delicious! go to coconut joes! its a nice outdoor bar (well, indoor as well) but the outside is under a huge tree and it has swings at the bar! so fun! also make sure to take a stroll down to the hard rock cafe gift shop. i picked up some cool little momentos! definately watch a sunrise and a sunset. there is NO sunset like a cayman sunset. i cant explain how beautiful it is. the turtle farm is fun as well. they have a nice size gift shop also! and if your lucky enough youll meet a cute boy or two who will be willing to give you a ride on the back of his bike ;). OH also take pics of their "yield" signs.... they say "give way" lol isnt that cute? OH sorry one more thing...if you go strolling down the road and you see a statue of a big black guy with a scroll about "big black d**k rum" have someone take a picture of you standing in front of it bent over a little bit (lol use your imagination..) lol. great times!!!! lets see.... check out "MacDonalds" lol.. and theres another cool outside bar i believe it was called "stingers". cabs down there dont look like cabs up here. there just basic vans. your hotel and the airport will have a ton of books and brochures on things to do. also if you can go parasailing (sp?). its gorgeous there and you will never forget it. nor will you ever be able to explain its beauty to anyone. ha i also saw oprah winfreys mansion (its big and kind of a yellowish color) she is one of the 2 people in the entire world who have a mansion along the 7 mile beach (actually 5 & 1/2). anyway have fun.

  2. i took a cruise to grand cayman and it was beautiful.. i am going there this month!!! cant wait!

  3. sting ray city, the sea turtle farm,  scuba diving at The Wall, and lots of shopping

  4. well there are a lot of diving places there which are great, so you can go there and see the wonderful nature! or explore the nearby islands!

  5. There are many things to do. Are you renting a car? I do suggest this so that you can get around your leisure. The island is approximately 22 miles from tip to tip so you can plan many things in one trip. I suggest doing the turtle farm and h**l all the same day as they are close in proximity. I also suggest as another day trip rum point which is on the opposite side of the island and on your way back you can stop at Pirate's Cave. Rum Point was a real treat for me, white beach, clear water and tree hammocks to relax in. There is also a little restaurant for burgers, fries, etc.

Definitly do the Stingray tour, you can book this with a tour group (some of which will pick you up at your resort or condo) or if you pick up some literature in the airport you can find companies that offer the excursion but you will have to drive there yourself. This is how I did it and we got the entire boat to ourselves which included some great snorkling before arriving to Stingray City.  Also be sure to do some shopping in town, they have some great stores to browse and buy stuff.

Also, if you are going to be in a condo and doing some cooking of your own I do suggest trying to get some fish from the local fisherman.  Right next to Margaritaville you'll find some local guys who sell their catch right there.

If you plan on heading out for dinner I do suggest happy hour at the Wharf. They have a free buffet along with drink specials. The buffet has conch, salad, chicken, etc. You can also stay for the feeding of the turpin which happens around sunset.  Another great place to eat is Coconut Joe's it is more of a burger wing place but the outside bar is really cool with swings as seats.

Have fun and relax, Cayman is one of the most relaxing islands I've been to. The water is beautiful and it calls you to bathe in it.

I have been to the Grand Cayman island  twice and you can't miss the Sting Ray City boat tour, and there is an area called Sea Star beach , just walking in the water there is full of star fish.  Although they are alive and you cannot take them, my kids loved getting their picture taken holding them.  They are Huge!  The locals can direct you to the beach.  Enjoy the water its beautiful!
