What is there to do in southhampton? going there for the day when I go to the uni open day...?

I like Southampton.  It has a string of five parks running through it  so you can take a pleasant walk through the parks and then go down to the docks.  You might start at the Tourist Information Office and get some free maps and info about the museums and art galleries etc.  There is lots to do but it is difficult to advise you without knowing what you might be interested in.
