What is there to do on a four hour flight?

I already asked this question, but I am willing to ask many times to get some good answers. I don't have an iPod, nor do I have a portable DVD player. I like reading, but I will probably be so excited to land that I can't focus. Any ideas? Thank you very much!

  1. Well you could print out some webpages to read from sites like http://www.bofads.com or http://www.clipsandcomment.com

  2. 4 hour flights arent that bad at all, and your excitement will more than likely die down after a while after youve taken off, so Id say grab a couple of magazenes that will keep you entertained, or just hope youll sit next to someone interesting. I always like it when someone starts a conversation with me. Or there might be an inflight movie. Hope this helps :).

    PS

    Where are you going?

  3. It's a four hour flight...your lucky! Most flights are 12 hours give or take. It wont be that boring especailly with the excitement you probably wont sleep the night before you leave so you can probably nap the few hours  and wake right before landing so you can see everything. its really cool

  4. It depends on the airline. if you are flying Delta or Northwest, there are in-flight movies. but what I do, is talk to the person next to me, or sit back, relax and enjoy my flight to whereever!

  5. The airline will have music; you can bring your own earphones to avoid any fee they might charge.

There might be a movie; you can find out ahead of time.

You might be too excited to read, however, if you bring a guidebook on Disneyland, you might be able to stay focused on that.

Puzzle games of your choice--crossword, sudoku, kakuro, logic puzzles-- will wile away the time and with different levels of difficulty can help pass the time.

Relax, breathe deeply a few times and then try to sleep.  If you are tired, just try to relax.  You will want to be wide awake when you get there, so you can enjoy Disneyland!

  6. They usual have a movie on or even a few sitcoms. have a great flight..

    Take care..

  7. Read

Talk to the person next to you (I've met some interesting people this way)

Bring headphones or you can usually buy them on the plane and they have a radio you can use there

Watch the in flight movie if there is one

    Sleep

Bring miniature board games-they have magnetic ones so you won't lose the pieces

Read the magazine and do the word games in the in flight magazine in the chair in front of you

    doodle on paper or draw

    write a song

make up a story about all the people who you see on the plane

    people-watch

  8. if your sleeping is off...sleep on the plane.  talk to whom ever you are going with or bring a deck of cards and use the table on the chair in front of you and play solitaire or card games.
