What is there to do when visiting vancouver for a weekend and what are the best bars/clubs for a 20 year old?

I am living in seattle for the summer, and thinking about driving up to vancouver for a weekend. What is there to do both curing the day and at night, and what are the best/cheapest places to stay, and the best way to travel? Obviosuly during the day i am interested in finding the must-attractions and landmarks as well as good places to eat. As for the night, i am looking for bars or clubs that are happeneing and fun for a 20 year old single guy. As this is the 1st time I will be in vancouver and information or small tips and advice on any of these items is appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know what it's called, but i the Gas town area-- Water street. It's near The Old Spaghetti Factory, there is this awesome club-- there are always lineups. Also try the Plaza Club. They have shows there. :]
