Chinese movie...landlord is powerful....then there were 3 powerful men who fought against 2 men who played this instrument on their knee....really popular movie....newer.....has hokey/funny parts and special effects.....one guy finds out he is the most powerful......lion's roar was a powerful move....

Kung Fu Hustle (2005) - directed by Stephen Chow.

If you liked it as much as I did look for his other films, including his hilarious "Shaolin Soccer" (2000) - very, very funny.
