I just saw a documentary on the History channel about this animal. It looks like a large dog but has no hair, has bluish gray rough thick skin and large fangs. It is truly ugle and it attacks other animals and sucks the blood out of them leaving the carcass behind.

In Puerto Rico they have been seen walking upright and in Texas on all fours. But in both areas they look similar.

They have dead animals to evaluate and have found they seem to be part coyotee and part dog. But these animals eat meat not just puncture and drink the blood.

Has anyone heard of these creatures? What are they?

  1. "It looks like a large dog but has no hair, has bluish gray rough thick skin and large fangs."

Sounds to me like a wolf or a coyote with a bad case of mange and possibly rabies.

  2. I watched a documentary on National Geographic about the Chupacabra. I've never seen one, and accoding to the show I watched, they were only in Puerto Rico. They're scary though!!! Huh?? EEEEEKKK!!!

  3. I think they are real. Just because there is no evidence doesn't mean it's not true. We don't know everything.

  4. they're not real

  5. Translated, it means "goat sucker".  The Chupacabra was an unknown creature that was blamed for the massive deaths of sheep and other farm animals across mexico and texas.  It was believed to be a "demon dog" of some sort.  A small creature with a large appetite and a demonic personality.

  6. Its suspected that the creatures found that were identified as 'Chupacabras' are actually either mutant Coyotes, a subspecies of Coyote, or Coyotes with a new strain of Mange.

I vote for 'new subspecies' because they have physiological differences from standard Coyotes, like pronounced canines, tougher skin, and thinner muzzles.

  7. They are figment of tabloid-TV's imagination.  They don't exist.  The History Channel lied to you.

  8. If they have quills on their back then they are chubacabras. They are a conspiracy that sucks the blood and sometimes organs out of farm animals' necks with one or two holes. and they only come out at night. I dont know if they are real or not, that's your opinion.
