Found it with Google Earth accidentally! Looks like some kind of a blast site (explosion experiments???)

Its an uplifted or elevated mountain,hill covered with ice (because it is white area) not a blast site because there are no such history about a blast there.I saw there are boats and ports near it.Its in west bengal near Chingail.There are tree near it if it had a blast there would be a big fire and trees near it will not be there.Hope i helped a lot.

  11. Not quite sure what it is, but I agree with Michael, it doesn't strike me as a blast site really.

    If it hadn't been for the fact that's it's that far south, I'd suggest snow. Maybe white sand or something? Salt mine?

  12. This appears to be the location of a place in Bengal,somewhere near Calcutta ,Most probably Churchura.

    Calcutta            22° 32' N     88° 20' E

    Hugli-Chuchura  22° 33' N   88° 14' E



    Churchura is the destination from where one goes to Kathmandu Or Tashkent by shortest route.
