It could be seen as racist.  I'm surprised they didn't think about this before taking the picture.  Someone wasn't doing their job.

I don't think this is racist.  I think the British press just love to get a story that can be blown well out of proportion - it's what they do best.

People make fun of my accent, tell me I'll die of a heart attack, go on about how much I must drink all because I'm Scottish.  I don't think they are being racist, just making fun of me.

Racism is a hate filled emotion, this was done in jest, albeit bad taste in these times.

hmmm borderline. It's just poking fun, not being racist directly. But there's no doubt they did it because it'd get into the papers. This kind of coverage is worth a million posters.

..but trust the british media to grab it and scream "abuse!! abuse!!" the rest of the world is not as pathetically over-pc, and they need to realise that.
