What is this Siemens device for?

Question

I have found a little black device that has the word SIEMENS printed on it. One end of it is like a small capsule, the size would be about 30mm and has a thin 40mm antenna attached to it. It has no other words or numbers on it, apart from SIEMENS. I found it by accident while I was vaccumming. It was under my chair cushion...any ideas????
