  1. It's your fantasy, man!

  2. Her administration is under investigation. Accused of trying to get a former brother-in-law fired from his law enforcement gig.  In an earlier pageant, Sarah played the flute and won "Miss Congeniality."

  3. Just your average corrupt politician. And in this case, particularly petty.

"McCain’s VP Choice Is Under Ethics Investigation For Abuse Of Power In Alaska»

palinphone.jpgIn Dayton, OH today, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) will announce that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will be his vice presidential running mate. Palin, who entered office in 2006 after running as a reformer, is touted by conservatives as being “a politician of eye-popping integrity.”

But Palin’s reformer image took a hit last month when she was accused of attempting to get a state trooper fired. That state trooper was her former brother-in-law who had gone through “a messy divorce” with her sister. "

  4. She tried to have someone fired for not firing a policeman who threatened to shoot her dad.

  5. SHE IS NOT AT THIS TIME. IT WAS BASICALLY A MINOR FAMILY MATTER.

  6. In response to Palin's statement that she had nothing to hide, in August 2008 the Alaska Legislature hired Steve Branchflower to investigate Palin and her staff for possible abuse of power surrounding the dismissal, though lawmakers acknowledge that "Monegan and other commissioners serve at will, meaning they can be fired by Palin at any time."[50] The investigation is being overseen by Democratic State Senator Hollis French, who says that the Palin administration has been cooperating and thus subpoenas are unnecessary.[51] The Palin administration itself was the first to release an audiotape of Bailey making inquiries about the status of the Wooten investigation.[48][52]

  7. Yes. She is being investigated for abusing her power by interfering in the firing of an Alaska State Police Officer who is her ex brother in law.

  8. yes she is...   She fired someone and someone literally wanted to make it a federal case.

  10. "However, she is currently herself under investigation by state lawmakers over the dismissal of a state public safety commissioner.

She is alleged to have sacked him because he did not dismiss a state trooper involved in a contentious divorce and child custody battle from her younger sister.

The governor told US network CNBC she had "nothing to hide" in the matter."

  11. She is being investigated for trying to use her power as governor to get her ex brother in law fired from the police force.

He was an alcoholic who abused Palin's sister and nephew. A bad cop who should be on the force.

  12. 'Troopergate' inquiry lurks

At issue is whether Palin, her administration or family improperly pressured Monegan to fire Alaska State Trooper Michael Wooten, the ex-husband of Palin's sister, and whether Palin fired Monegan when that didn't happen. Palin's sister, Molly McCann, and Wooten are divorced but still battling in court over custody and visitation.

Palin is called the “Wolf Killer” in large areas of Alaska….. the AK legislature has passed twice a bill to stop hunting of wolves from bush planes and Palin refuses to sign the bill into law. The bill is overwhelmingly supported by tons of environmental & animal rights organizations.

Ms. Palin had read the biography of Frank Glaser, a professional wolf killer working some 60 years ago, and had formulated her views based on that book.

Ms. Palin found the outdated principles by which he operated to be "good science." Thus, she disregards two statewide votes in which Alaskans banned the practice and shows an ignorance of recent polls indicating 83 percent of Alaskans and 71 percent of Alaskan hunters disapprove. She seems unaware of the 2005 letter sent by the American Society of Mammalogists in protest of the gunning, a letter they will repeat this year. And she ignores such Alaskans as Dr. Vic Van Ballenberghe, Dr. Gordon Haber, Joel Bennett, Nick Jans ,and Lowell Thomas Jr., all of whom oppose aerial killing.

Ms. Palin presents herself as one who studies issues in depth; decides based on the best information; gives weight to Alaskans opinions. But when it comes to aerial killing she toes the Alaska Outdoors Council line just like Frank Murkowski.
