What is this blue stuff my dentist put on my broken tooth?

I broke my tooth the other day and went to the dentist today and she put a temperary cap on it... and it's blue!!! What is this stuff called?

  1. It is likely the cement she used. It is the color blue. And the light she used cures (hardens) the cement. Don't remember the name though.


  2. THIS BLUE STUFF IS A DENTAL BUILD-UP MATERIAL PRIOR TO A CROWN BEING PLACED.
