  1. Shes small, muscline, not QH. I have no idea where people are getting that. She looks nothing like them.

Its will be hard for us to tell. So next time her vet comes out, i would ask him to get the best idea.

She may be part Connemara Pony, and part mustang.

She also looks like this horse, but i dont know if she is or not http://www.allabouthorses.com/breeds/bre...

  2. I'm leaning toward mustang as well, some sort of cross maybe. Unless of course you don't live in the U.S., then I would say some sort of pony cross, Fell or Conamara or one of those chunky breeds.

I think you can safely call her a grade horse!

  3. i agree with the other person.

im not sure where these people are getting QH from.

    she looks nothing like one.

    these are QHs:

    http://vip.6to23.com/gorster/Image/Quart...

she is [as you should be able to tell] not stocky, or tall enough.

shes obviously a pony and not a horse.

    this is what i think:

i think shes mostly mustang. her head and most of her conformation look that way:

    http://www.dkimages.com/discover/preview...

its possible she could have some connemara also:

    http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co...

all in all i think she is at least 75% mustang

    and NOT quarter horse

but.... you can always just call her a grade horse.

heres the deff if you dont know what a grade horse is:

[its just basically a mixed breed]

    hope this helps:]

    ps

    shes ADORABLE!!

what a cute little face!! :]

    pps

i also agree with the person above. if your friend REALLY wants to know the breed, then ask a vet, they might be able to help.

  4. Well she is a bay horse (her color)  because of the black socks and black mane and brown hair and I would say she is a grade quarter horse based on her head and build. She could also be a quarter horse cross because of her size.

  5. The back looks like a Morgan, maybe a mix though.

  6. Iam going to guess that she look Connamara'ish BUT could just be the photo too.  Might be a grade pony.  Who knows! She is adorable though :)

  7. With her build and size, she looks like a Mustang/Quarter mix.

  8. This horse might not be a specific breed like a quarter horse or an Arabian, it could be a mixture like a mutt,to me it looks like a pony mutt.

  9. the first thing i thought when i saw her was Connemara pony

and then i thought hmm maybe mustang?

then i thought I bet she's a mix of mustang QH and something else lol

    she's a mix

don't the owners know who the parents are?

  10. Well she is not a morgan or the new style quarters.  She may have some foundation quarter horse in her though.  Mustang is a strong possiblity.  She does not look like a bashir curly either.  My best guess is an old fashioned quarter horse X mustang cross.  However she could be a large pony quarterhorse cross.   I am making an assumption that you live in the US though.

  11. she looks like a mustang

  12. i agree with ^^^^^^^^^

  13. looks like a QH-type horse.  Can't say straight QH without being registered.

  14. Looks like a Quarter pony to me because she doesn't really look big (tall) enough to be a horse.

Good Luck hope you find out = )

  15. She coul be alot of thing. First three that come to my mind are Mustang: http://www.mypets.net.au/petimages/musta...

    OR

    Morgan: http://www.horses-and-horse-information....

    OR

    New Forest: http://www.worldofhorses.co.uk/horses_us...

She is probley just a grade pony though ^^ but a ery cute one at that xD Who knows what she has in her. I think a Morgan cross...

  16. I agree with the other 2.  She looks grade Quarter or cross.  Mustang is also possible, although usually they are smaller in the hind end.  It would be easier to tell if we could see the way she moves, etc. (mustangs are pretty distinctive in the way that they move.) She might be a mustangxquarter which would make your friend very lucky because they are the best horses (in my opinion of course).

  17. She looks like a Mustang.

Do you any other photos of her?

    confirmation shots would help.

  18. To me she looks exactly like a Bashkir Curly. The breed usually have kinky, curly manes like that, and she has a very short lengthed back. She has a medium size head with well-defined jaw and throatlatch. The average height for a Bashkir Curly is 15hh but can range from 13.3 hands to 16 hands. I noticed her mane and tail is very short, so this causes me to completely agree she is a Bashkir Curly because they can completely shed their manes and tails, then grow them back during winter. Her back is too short to be a QH. My QH mare has a really long back.

this is a picture of a Bashkir Curly Horse. There is a close resemblence.

  19. Quarter Horse Mustang cross is what she looks like to me perfect size for that breed too (:

  20. She looks like a cross breed... which is like a mutt.   But don't worry they sometimes turn out to be better than purebreds.  =]

i would definitely guess part draft.

  21. she looks like a mustang, maybe a Quarter Horse mix? hard to tell. she's pretty though!

  22. She probably is a mix of some sort. I think she may be part QH, but it's hard to tell. If your friend is really serious about finding out then she should ask a vet, or possibly look through some horse breed books to find a horse that has a close match.

  23. She's a cutie!

Grade QH would be my opinion.

(I love the answer that disagrees with her being QH-type! She's about as close as you can get...and keep in mind that QH have an extremely wide range of standards...people who show in cutting and reining have considerably different looking horses than those who show pleasure...and quite a bit of a height difference too!).

  24. Definitely looks like a mustang to me.
