What is this brightly colored bird I am seeing in Florida?

This bird has the coloration of a metalic-like parrot (blue, green, red and maybe a little yellow) but it is not shaped like a parrot at all...

The shape is more like a cow-bird or crow...

  2. I would agree with the possibility of a painted bunting.  Being in Florida it could be an escapee from a collection or zoo as well.  There's lots of exotic species surviving and breeding in Florida.

  3. Could be a painted bunting. They are small, about 5 inches or so long, and bright blue, red and yellow. Very bright and I think there are quite a few in your area.
