What is this brown thing on my cats gum

My cat is 4 years old, and he has a couple of brown spots on his gums, he doesnt have difficulty eating or weight loss or anything, but he does have bad breath. I dont think i can really afford getting his teeth cleaned at the vets, but if he needs it, of course i would get it done.

Or should i just get some cat toothpaste and stuff for him?

I dont want him to be in pain.. also i heard orange cats sometimes get moles on their gums, but a couple of spots on his gums are a little redder than usual, should i take him to the vets?

  1. my cat hhas brown on his mouth too,it's like the breed, like a chow has a black toung

  2. You should wait a while and see if it gets any worse, if it does take him to the vet.

  3. try mixing some tuna with some parsely for the bad breath, parsley is a natural breath freshener.  i say the tuna because if you feed him dry food he probably wont get all of the parsley haha
