What is this brush for?

Question

Ok so I just bought a makeup brush set. I'm just curious as to what one of the brushes is for. It has a seashell shape...whats it for???

a fan brush's main purpose is for blush or hilighters for a light sweep across your cheeks. but you can also use it (if its clean) to sweep excess from your cheeks. but any big fluffy brush will do the trick for that as well. i don't recommend it for bronzer because you need a little more control when applying bronzer so i'd recommend a kabuki brush for that. there are also small mascara fans to help seperate and define your lashes after youve applied your mascara.

Fan brushes are mainly used for highlighting your cheekbones or using bronzer to add some colour to your face (either cheeks, nose, chin, forehead, wherever you apply bronzer.)

I like to use a brush like that for bronzer, blush, or highlighting powder/shimmer!

are u talking bout the fan brush?

you can use that to apply blush, or you can use it to remove fall out from your eyeshadow.

it's just another eyeshadow applicator. i like using it because it gets the eyeshadow on good [:
