i always read this book when i was little (you'd think i'd remember the name), but it's about a boy who goes fishing, and there is this little fish that is really smart and he can't catch it, but the medium, large, and extra large fish all get caught, but the little fish never does. does anyone know what book it is, i need it for school...

It's probably not, but all I could think of is The Magic Fish about a fish who grants wishes to the fisherman who catches him and lets him go.
