What is this computer game called??

Question

Theres a small board on the bottom of the screen, the object of the game is to hit this ball around and take out blocks.

occasionally little powerups drop from the blocks, like the board gets bigger etc.

any ideas? its old i know that, i used to play it on the spectrum i think! but theres defiantly new versions of it.

I used to play one just like that called "Batty" for the Commodore 64. There were powerups and you could play it two player as well.

there are tons of different versions of this game but the most famous is called "brickbreaker" type it in on google or something im positive youll be able to play it
