What is this condition?

I have had it about 3 times all when I'm lying in my bed at night. If I look into the corner of the room it looks more far away than usual, like a distant vision. Its strange, the only person who understands what I mean is my mum because she's had it before aswell.

Can anyone relate to or understand what this is?

I'm curious to know, I don't think its stress related or anything like that because when it happens its just randomly.

  1. when you sit up and lie down you get a difference in blood pressure, im not sure which way it is but its either fast or slow blood pressure which makes people feel like that. i have it :)

  2. Take no notice, my feeling is your probably overtired and getting a bit stressed. (My son came down about an hour ago - shadows in the garden watching him.) We had a chat, changed the subject etc and he's gone back to bed with the hall light on so it looks different. Asleep now. Like yousay its one of those random things, if it bugs you read for a while or put on some quiet music to occupy your mind. Maybe its brain messsges a bit out of sinc as your tired, I know what you mean. Hopefully you'll be asleep soon!

  3. I don't think its anything but an optical illusion.  Your in bed, probably tired.  The lights are out.  Are both eyes focused on the corner or only one?  Your depth perception changes when only using one eye.  I don't think you have anything to worry about.

  4. could be anxiety (which yes it means stress) and it could be a brain tumor
