ok! call me nutz! i was in the panamanian jungle, roughly 88 i believe. i was on an lpop post by myself. at first, i watched a spider monkey work his way to me from about 50 yrds.(it was on a gradual slope where i could see that far). after observing me close up as he did for a good 2 minutes, he leisurly swung away...then the most extraordinary thing happened! a creature that at first i took as a butterfly slowly worked it's way past me about 5 feet from the ground. i started follwing it and could get right up close to it. it had no care that i was there. it was white and "billowing" making maybe 1/2 a mph.white, about 4 inches long, and inch and a half from wing tip to tip, only...it wasn't wings! it appeared like a creature from the deep, undulating billows, the affect, like a s***w through the water...absolutely beautiful! i folloed it for maybe 10 meters and then had to get back to my post, it was etheral!
