It's a tragus. For some people, they are extremely painful. I just got microdermal anchors on each tragus instead of piercing the actual cartilage, though dermal anchors are semi-permanent.

As you probably know by now it a tragus.

You can only get it done with a needle, and no you can't get it done at Claire's. You will have to go to a professional piercer.

I've heard from some people that they hurt bad, but others say it doesn't hurt at all, i guess it depends on your pain tolerance.
