Okay so in my v****a, there's like whiteish yellowish stuff in it. Now, my queston is, is this normal? It's been there most of my life (seriously as long as i can remember) so I always just assumed it was because it was dirty, but the more I think about it, the more I think it may be true, is that normal? It's like not just inside my v****a either, it's around my clitoris to an extent and it's also around the clitoral hood too. Is it just because it's dirty or is there something wrong with me? It's never been irritated or anything...just there?

  1. its called vaginal discharge. it cleans you v****a. it is normal. when its yellow it may be and infection. watch out. does it smell or itch. check out this website.

  2. Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge (mucous) is normal.  The v****a is self-cleaning.  If it's coming out yellow you probably have a bacterial infection.  Otherwise, it's normal for the discharge to dry yellow once exposed to air.

This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away.

    Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your v****a. Old blood looks brown.
