  1. It's a virus. Get some good antivirus and first scan your hard drive (cause you already had your HDD infected) and then do the same for the USB stick.

Avast Home Edition is suitable for that.

P.S.: the virus can be called KESHA.EXE, though it may as well be some other virus

P.P.S.: by the way, if it is Kesha you can delete it even without an antivirus.

Call task manager by pressing ctrl+alt+del, have a look at the processes and sort them by name. At the end of the list you will see explorer.exe (е - Cyrillic, not Latin, run not from %WINDIR%, but from %WINDIR%\system32 ), you have to kill that process, then open menu "run" in the start panel, print msconfig there and press enter. In the tab "Startup" remove the tick from that cyrillic explorer. Then open the folder %WINDIR%\system32, and delete the file explorer.exe. Open the USB drive and delete autorun.inf and the folder Recycled.

DON'T DO THIS IF YOU ARE NOT SURE IT IS KESHA.EXE

  2. First download a good scanner AVG Free

works well.  Boot your computer in safe mode and run a complete scan of your computer.  After that reboot normally.  Plug in your thumb drive and see what happens.  If it still happens format your stick.

  3. Oh yeah, this is an essential file to your USB stick. It's not dangerous or anything in anyway, you just have to leave it there so your USB stick can run properly.

Pretty much what it does is when you delete something on your USB stick, it makes it so that it has somewhere to put the deleted stuff, AKA your computer's recycling bin.
