  4. its a stink bug i see them all the time if you kill once it will stink in that area for a little bit normally just a few mins but it gross

One of the problems with common names is that the same common name is applied to different insects and one insect may have different common names in different areas.  This beetle belongs to the Family Carabidae.  It's accepted common name is ground beetle.  Some of the ground beetles when handled give off a disagreeable odor and are commonly referred to as stink bugs.  Other species in this family eject a cloud when handled and are called bombardier beetles.

    Some of the ground beetles are attracted to lights, so they would be found in homes.  Usually ground  beetles are found concealed under stones and wood during the day and at night they hunt for their insect prey. I believe this is your beetle.
