  2. Hummingbird moth, pretty cool looking, they visit my butterfly bush all the time.

  3. If it has six legs, it's definitely an insect, and not at all related to a bird.  It could be a large wasp.

  4. sphinx moth

  5. Well, you either saw a bumblebee, or a humming bird.  Vertebrates are unable to have more than 4 limbs, their bodies are not built for it.

You might have been high/drunk/tired/a combination of all 3.

  6. Maybe a dragonfly.

  7. Was it at night?

Cuz I am 100% I saw the thing your talking about!

If it was at night, then 80% chance says its a bat.

I saw this insect/bird thing before and it just swooped by me. Then i shined a flashlight at it, no use.. it flew away.. but I am pretty sure its a bat :P

  8. most probably a large moth or wasp. orders do not cross breed, how could they. bird = bone; insect/wasp = exoskeleton, together = squashed insect and confused hummingbird!

  9. As what I have researched on the net it’s called ‘bee hummingbird’.

The ‘bee hummingbird is found in Cuba which is 2.24 inches long or 5.7 cm, and nearly half of that length is in beak and tail.

Let me see if the photo I’ll give you is same as yours :)

  11. It's a big moth. We have them in New Mexico. They fly and look like tiny humming birds. The cat finally caught one and showed it to us up close.
