What is this japanese food called?

This is the bento box I had at a restaurant. There is beef teriyaki, gyoza, ebi shrimp and tempura veggies, but I forgot what the things on the bottom right are called... there's shrimp inside of them.

  1. they look like shu mai - steamed or pan fried pork and /or veggie dumplings.  bento boxes commonly have those and they are yummy!  you can buy them in the frozen food section, depending on where you live.  or if you need a recipe, e-mail me.


  2. thoes are sui mai.. pork dumplings

  3. looks like a deep fried version of Chinese sui mai, but with shrimp.  

    Your bento box place owned by Chinese?

    Also, those have become quite popular to the point that local supermarket deli's have deep fried sui mais at the takeout counter.
