What is this kids movie called?

Its a childrens movie from the 80s I believe. The part that I vividly remember is a boy and girl are taken into a magical land where there are a lot different creatures but one in particular eats flowers that are drawn on a paper. I remember watching the girl drawing flowers with a pencil on a piece of paper and than giving the paper to these creatures to eat. Anyone know the name of this movie?
