I forgot what it's called, and it's been bugging me for quite a while. It's a road that leads into a circular area where houses are situated. I think it has some kind of foreign-ish name, French maybe?

  1. That is a cul-de-sac

  2. cul-de-sac

  3. culda-sac

  4. What you are showing is a cul-de-sac. You're right that its origin is french. cul-de-sac in French means, literally, the bag's ****. There's no way, as you know, of getting out of a bag's **** but by making marche arrière.
