What is this martial arts move called?

Its a simple but powerful and effective move where you take your thump or one of your fingers lol and strike directly at the person's throat.

If you have see the movie "He Got Game" there is a scene where Denzel Washington does it to some guy.

Anyone know the name of that move?

I believe that move is called the Thumb Knuckle. It is a strike used in Uechi-Ryu Karate.
